Le port de Lom\u00e9 a connu ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es d\u2019importants travaux de modernisation ; il est aujourd\u2019hui l\u2019une des plateformes portuaires les plus performantes et modernes d\u2019Afrique Occidentale. <\/span><\/p>\n

Afin d\u2019accueillir des porte-conteneurs d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 allant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 7 000 EVP, Togo Terminal a confi\u00e9 en 2012 \u00e0 un groupement men\u00e9 par Soletanche Bachy la conception-construction d\u2019un troisi\u00e8me quai. <\/span><\/p>\n

Le projet comprenait la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un mur de quai de 450 m de long ainsi que le bassin d\u2019\u00e9vitage et le canal d\u2019acc\u00e8s au port. Le quai en rideau mixte a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 au moyen de pieux m\u00e9talliques de grand diam\u00e8tre (1 412 mm) de 30 m de long associ\u00e9s \u00e0 des palplanches. <\/span><\/p>\n

Le dragage a permis d\u2019approfondir \u00e0 -15 m le canal d\u2019acc\u00e8s et de cr\u00e9er le bassin d\u2019\u00e9vitage. Plus d\u2019un million d\u2019heures de travail aura \u00e9t\u00e9 n\u00e9cessaire pour mener \u00e0 bien un chantier caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par une tr\u00e8s forte implication de la main d\u2019oeuvre et de l\u2019encadrement togolais et africains.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
